Item Academic audit -Tool for quality enhancement in Teaching-Learning process in higher education institutes(K.K.Wagh Institute of engineering education & research, 2019-06-08) Khan, Tabrez; Magar, Rajendra; Ansari, Zakir; Shaikh, AfzalAcademic audit is a methodical and scientific process of designing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the quality in academic systems in higher education. The academic audit provides a strategic planning and its implementation for the teaching learning activity in the institute. In order to ensure quality and effective curriculum delivery, in teaching-learning, quality assurance system like Internal Academic Audit (IAA) system is very much essential. This paper aims to discuss the effective implementation of IAA in the technical campus situated in Panvel, Maharashtra. Academic Audit is done thrice during the term as Pre Term Audit- before the commencement of the term, Mid Term Audit- during the mid of the term and Post Term Audit- after the term end. Total thirty four numbers of input parameters are identified based on which academic audit is carried out. For every single parameter in the audit format, the course owner is evaluated for complete, partially complete and incomplete status of that parameter as per defined rubrics.The score of all the parameters is converted to a scale of 5 which would become the score of that course owner and would be used for appraising the concerned course owner.The reports of the Pre Term, Mid Term, and Post Term audit would be kept with the audit team and the necessary corrections would be conveyed to the respective course owners at the time of the audit. It was observed that after the introduction of the aforementioned process, the academic files of all the faculty members were found complete in all respects and quality of assignments, teaching learning and evaluation process was improved significantly.Item Call detail record and social media analysis(AIKTC, 2017-05) Khan, Tabrez; Ansari, Mohd. Often it is required that the same documents which originated from a common source are to be used by multiple users at different places for different purposes. This puts forward multiple challenges ranging from timely retrieval to data security. To overcome all such issues, a safe, secured,updated and efficient retrieval system is installed, configured and maintained at the institute level using open source cloud software called Own cloud. The user groups have been created program-wise. Then the user accounts are created for every faculty and added to specific program group. A directory structure has been created considering the common ministrative and teaching-learning requirements of the programs. This structure has been shared with all the faculty members of the respective program. A write access or read access is provided to all the concerned users through which each user has required access on fly. Every faculty user has 1 GB quota and department clerk has 10 GB quota, which can be used to store individual's teaching-learning and administrative records. It should be accurate and less bulky. This manual process of student registration and result generation is always bulky and tedious. All these problems can be eliminated if the college system is automated. By automating this system, the examination coordinators can easily conduct the registration of students and the generation of results systematically. The system is an efficient, decisive resource for institutions and students. It will help at different levels for bringing reliability, efficiency, scalability, transparency and robust solutions. By automating the college system, the results can be declared in a flexible manner and most importantly it will be error free and student registration, filling of online exam form, revaluation form for respective subjects, filling of KT form, generation of hall tickets and respective results etc. Also the students will be able to check their marks for every practical, oral, term works, unit tests along with the final theory exam mark sheets. Humans are inevitably drawn towards something that is visually more attractive. This tendency of humans has led to the development of the fashion industry over the course of time. However, given too many op- tions of garments on the e-commerce websites, has presented new challenges to the customers in identifying their correct outfit. Thus, in this project, we proposed a personalized Fashion Recommender system that generates recommendations for the user based on an input given. Unlike the conventional systems that rely on the user’s previous purchases and history, this project aims at using an image of a product given as input by the user to generate recommen- dations since many-a-time people see something that they are interested in and tend to look for products that are similar to that. It has a built-in intelligence system that make user work easy. In this advanced era of technology, we don't have any mobile application or site that can help user to manage their inventory, track their family nutrition, track their purchase record and suggest them recipe based on the item they have in inventory. In this project,our main aim is to save money, time, and save food from wastage. It also provide recipes and many more. It is a system designed to help individuals create an accurate and comprehensive inventory of their personal possessions. The system uses machine learning techniques to automatically identify and categorize items based on images and descriptions provided by the user. Bilal (15DCO51)Due to the advancement in the field of multimedia technologies, there is an increase in the computerized and digital images. An image may contain a tree, house, mountain, etc due to which a real life object can be categorized into multiple categories. There have been several studies on automatic image annotation where they utilize machine learning techniques to an- notate digital images due to its need. Face detection and recognition is already being used in many real world applications. The traditional methods of retrieving an image such as annotating images manually is time-consuming and expensive, especially for an continuously increasing image database. The problem in the existing applications is that it does not tag the other ob- jects present in the pictures, and sometimes they also have a problem with tagging people. In this paper, we propose a system of automatic image annotation using convolutional neural net- works that takes into account the texual queries or keywords and searches for the related in the database. Image auto-tagging is a classification task that aims to tag or label an image by identifying the objects present within the same image. This new system also has an advantage of automatically determine the image on the basis of the keyword entered by the user. So much so that it has turned into a social issue. So recognizing and distinguishing fake news is an important task which must be accomplished with proper ideas and science behind it. In this project we have implemented an application, which will help users to discern fake news amongst all sort of news which is available on all over internet. The application will provide users with up to date news using simple news aggregation along with news validation, the news will be classified into three categories fake, genuine and neutral. The validation will be performed in two stages; first using machine learning and second based on news feedback provided by the users of our system. Using this two step method we can make a validation system that is dynamic and one that becomes more accurate with time. Our news validation system implements methods that would be more feasible, accurate and reliable out of all methods present for news validation. Our system will go with a hybrid approach. A hybrid approach is the combination of both linguistic and network approach, this approach is developed by integrating advantages of linguistic and network approach and by eliminating their drawbacks. It has components like authentic source identification, date validation, data collection, comparison and support analysis. All these parameters will conclude in well formed results. The system will feed upon a normal text of information in the context of news articles, the output of the system will be a probability percentage, that would tell at which extent the information is reliable and valid. As this is the online era, where everything is online we need to develop a system which is very useful to maintain the feedback by the administrator. With this the organization can access the feedback reports in a faster way and without any loss of data. As of now this task is usually done using pen and paper. This has many drawbacks and evaluating this handwritten form is a difficult process. Along with Sentiment analysis we can easily automate the procedure of analysing feedback of every event of an organization. Sentiment analysis or opinion mining is the computational study of people’s opinions, sentiments, attitudes, and emotions expressed in written language. It is one of the most active research areas in natural language processing and text mining in recent years. Sentiment classification is a way to analyze the subjective information in the text and then mine the opinion. Sentiment analysis is the procedure by which information is extracted from the opinions, appraisals and emotions of the people in regards to entities, events and their attributes. People are preferring to buy products more and more from on-line e-commerce websites. They are successfully able to bring the customer in confidence and overcoming the risk involved in on-line transactions by carefully analyzing the behavior of the buyers/sellers and cultivating confidence among the resellers and buyers by developing strategies to attract more business and participation from people. Here comes the existence of price comparison engines into picture which enable the buyers to compare products from different E-commerce websites thus facilitating the buyers to purchase the product at the cheapest price. There are many factors that are involved in developing a successful product. The success of the product is defined by the usefulness and the influence the product has on the human life. The Real Time Product analysis using data mining is enables the real time comparison of products on the basis of the prices and other parameters that are obtained though different E-commerce websites. To obtain prices and other parameters of the products from different E-commerce websites , a web Crawler is used that can crawl to different E-commerce websites and fetch the URLs of the products. Once the URL of the products are available, scrapper scrape the details that were abstracted within the URL. This scrapped data is then stored in the database. Then comparison among the products of the different E-commerce websites is being made by using techniques such as inverted indexing. We will basically take the bulk of input resume from the client company and that client company will also provide the requirement and the constraints according to which the resume should be ranked by our system. But now in 20th century it has being assumed that all the country in the world is developed enough.All such thing is always appear in newspaper, TVs or any other social media services .But what is hidden or not shown to people is the growing poverty and wastage of food in the nation. Around 1/3rd of world’s food is thrown away or get spoil by the people, whereas one the other hand we see growing poverty in the nation.By 2050 the population is expected to increased by 2billion,with 1.2 billions of people is living without food at present.On the urge of growing nation on positive side we cannot neglect the fact of increasing poverty in country.So,for the Needy people in country, we come up with idea for solution of making an android-application along with website for their basic requirement.Acting on the food wastage, can be considered to be having a significant impact on achieving the sustainability goals and can also be a vital auxiliary measure to counteract the imbalance in the global food availability and distribution.Due to that, we developed an android application “Roti Bank System” using android studio because it will reach a wider range of audience since most people nowadays use android phones. Our Roti Bank System tries to summarize from the available data, the global, the national and the community level food wastage scenarios. With a focus on the food wastage due to ‘over consumption’ as one of the high potential source for reduction and the behavioral aspects and habits as obstacles to the goal of sustainability.The purpose of this development is to limit the wastage of food in the India. Many restaurants, weddings, parties etc. tend to throw the leftover food at the end of the day even though the food is perfectly fine to be eaten, which means that huge amounts of food are wasted. While all that food is being wasted, some families can barely afford proper meals with their limited money. They don’t get enough nutrition due to the lack of having meals in a day. Therefore, we decided to create our application to link the donor with the NGO, which will then proceed by serving the meals to Needy people. Our application will try to reduce food wastage with the help of restaurants,wedding and many such source who can contribute in providing their leftover food to the Needy people, so that the Needy can get at least one time of meal.Our system will allow the user to register, login and view the nearby donor, receiver or any Needy person who are in need and can send them in-app notification for confirmation.Our application is using the firebase for real-time database to store the details of the user and food share between them. Many organizations work on the make to stock process, management will decide the quantity of the product based on the previous expectations and it is unformulated to different departments of the organization and prepare stock.In this process there are many problems for the business development. There are chances of losing the competition in the market so we provide an online application through which customers can send their order to the company through an online process and the company will develop the product. This system works on make to order basis. Supply Chain Management aims at improving competitiveness of the supply chain as a whole, by integrating organizational units along the supply chain and by coordinating material, information and financial flows in order to fulfill (ultimate) customer demands. TheWarehouse Management System is a real-time warehouse database capable of handling large inventories of an organization. This can be used to track the inventory of a single store, or to manage the distribution of stock between several stores of a larger franchise. However, the system merely records sales and restocking data and provides notification of low stock at any location at a specified interval. The goal is to reduce the strain of tracking rather than to handle all store maintenance. The main goal of Warehouse Management System is to ensure consistent availability of supplies for consumers. The system is also capable of tracking In Out transactions of single or multiple stores as well as also generates their billing details. The system generates monthly reports of sales from which a manager of a respective store would be able to know the monthly sales transaction done.Item Universal Document Viewer(AIKTC, 2016-05) Khan, Tabrez; Momin, Muntazim Azim Anisa (12CO75); Karel, Abdulla Nuruddin Zubeda (12CO76); Khan, Irfan Mohd Aslam Fehmida (12CO74)The Universal Document Viewer, as the name suggest is an application that can be used to view all different types of documents ranging from a Text file to HTML file, a Word file to PDF file etc. The Universal Document Viewer overcomes the headache of installing separate application for different files. The main USP of Universal Document Viewer is that it can open almost all the types of documents under it. The tabbed feature allows you to open different files retaining or without closing the previous one. The Universal Document Viewer is all in one i.e. what all different applications, text editors do, it does all. It is integration or consolidation of all different applications like Notepad, MS Office Word, Adobe PDF Reader, Web Browser and Image Viewer in to one single application.
