Abstract
This thesis explores the life and legacy of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, a brave Maratha ruler, scholar, and martyr whose contributions remain underrepresented in public memory. The aim is to research his life events and values and translate them into a memorial design that uses storytelling through architecture to evoke reflection, pride, and awareness.
The study uses a multidisciplinary methodology including historical research, case studies, and architectural analysis. It investigates memorial design principles, spatial storytelling techniques, and elements of Maratha symbolism to create an emotionally immersive experience
