Item Automatic hand sanitizer dispenser(AIKTC, 2021-05) Khan, Jalal; Aafrith Ali, Noor Mohd (17ME02); Babar, Mrunesh (17ME08); Bankotkar, Sajid (17ME10); Shaikh, Juneid (17ME20)Demand for hand sanitizers has surged since the coronavirus broke out and spread around the world. Hand sanitizers are usually applied by squirting the sanitizer liquid when one presses a pump with one’s hand. This causes many people to come into contact with the pump handle, which increases the risk of viral transmission. Some hand sanitizers on the market are automatically pumped. However, because sanitizer containers and pump devices are designed to be compatible only between products produced by the same manufacturer, consumers must also repurchase the container for the liquid if they replace the hand sanitizer. Therefore, this paper suggests the design of an automatic hand sanitizer system compatible with various sanitizer containers.Item Design and fabrication of multi purpose mini farming machine(AIKTC, 2017-05) Khan, Jalal; Bade, Saquib (13ME69); Khan, Shahid (13ME86); Khan, Shazan (13ME90); Mohd, Yunus Mohd. Isa (13ME92); Sayed, Farhan (13ME103)Agriculture being one of the major occupation in India, it is very essential to discover and implement new idea in this field, though lot of work has been done in this area. It is unfortunate that, these ideas are not been implemented properly in actual field. This is due to high cost and is complicated for rural people. Multipurpose Farming Machine is basic and major equipment involved in agriculture for maximum yielding. Conventional method of planting and cultivating crops is a laborious process and hence for that reason there is a scarcity of labours, this result in delayed agriculture to overcome these difficulties, multipurpose agriculture equipment is designed. This project is intended to help small-scale grain growers meet an increased demand for diverse, locally grown grains by designing a mini farming machine. To refine our prototype and final design, we worked closely with a three person review panel, made up of grain farmers and industrial designers. With this prototype, we hope to provide farmers nationwide with a way to harvest and bind grains on small plots of land in cities and along the periphery of urban areas.Item Implementation of 5S at Malmo Steels Pvt.Ltd.(AIKTC, 2019-05) Khan, Jalal; Shaikh, Moeez M.(16DME171); Shaikh, Naushad M.(16DME176); Sayyed, Mohd.Aarish(16DME169); Ansari, Shoeb J.(16DME129)5S is a basic foundation of Lean Manufacturing systems. Aluminum is nonferromagnetic , a property of importance in the electrical and electronics industries. It is nonpyrophoric, which is important in applications involving inflammable or explosive-materials handling or exposure. Aluminum is also non-toxic and is routinely used in containers for food and beverages. It has an attractive appearance in its natural finish, which can be soft and lustrous or bright and shiny. It can be virtually any color or texture.Item Optimization of plant layout(AIKTC, 2019-05) Khan, Jalal; Sayed, Akbar Ali Sadique Ali [16DME168]; Shaikh, Sohail Riyaz [16DME178]; Thange, Yaseen Saleem [16DME182]; Malpekar, Mohseen Mubarak [16DME158]Facilities layout is a systematic and functional arrangement of different departments, machines, equipments and services in a manufacturing industry. It is essential to have a well developed plant layout for all the available resources in an optimum manner and get the maximum out of the capacity of the facilities. The efficiency of production depends on how well the various machines, services production facilities and employee’s amenities are located in a plant. This project aims to study and improve the current plant layout and are analysed designed by using string diagram. An Attempt is made to simulate the current and proposed factory layout by using inventor software. Efficiency of the current proposed plant layout are calculated.. Plant layout planning includes decisions regarding the physical allocation of the economic activity centers in a facility. An economic activity center is any entity occupying space. The objective of plant layout planning is a more effective work flow at the facility, allowing workers and equipment being more productive. Cost of Quality is evaluated in terms of dimensional tolerances. Robust design is implemented in a gear hobbing process. The optimum setting of parameter is to be obtained in presence of uncontrollable noise factors. The target value for Root Diameter of a spur gear used in shaft in an automobile is 28.00 mm. The dimensional tolerance for of a spur gear 27.90-28.10 mm. It was found that these were arbitrarily accepted as the tolerance limit and any component within this tolerance limit would be accepted as good quality. This concept is a traditional design concept where every part within a range is accepted as of good quality. Taguchi parameter design tries to find an optimum value so that component meets the desired specification or in other words meets the target value. Experimental analysis is performed at different levels of control factors and noise factors. Optimum value of control factors is found by studying Signal to Noise ratio (nominal the best). Again the tolerance ranges for Root Diameter were calculated and it was effectively found that the tolerance range was found as 29. 95-28.05 mm. The tolerance was reduced from 0.2 mm to 0.1 mm which led to overall reduction in cost of quality of a spur gear.Item Reduction Of Cost Of Quality By Using Robust Design: A Research Methodology(Research Publish Journals, 2014-10) Khan, JalalCoQ and Taguchi Design are to be integrated together for time and resource savings and determination of important factors affecting operation, performance and cost; and quantitative recommendations for design parameters which achieve lowest cost, high quality solutions. Taguchi’s parameter design method is a powerful tool for optimizing the performance characteristic of a product/process. The aim of a parameter design experiment is to identify and design the settings of the process parameters that optimize the chosen quality characteristic and are least sensitive to noise (uncontrollable) factors. Finally methodology for reducing Cost of Quality by using robust design is to be developed.Item Solar powered RC car(AIKTC, 2021-05) Khan, Jalal; Mansoori, Mohd Osama Iqbal (17ME57); Shaikh, Mubeen Abdul Majid (14ME50); Khan, Salman Jamaluddin (18DME37); Khan, Nagma (18DME20); Shaikh, Zaid (12ME73)Solar energy is a renewable energy which would exist for even billions of years more. In 2015, COP21 known as the 2015 Paris Climate Conference took place in Paris and the cooperation of over 190 countries agreed on climate, with the aim of keeping global warming below 2℃. In this conference many conditions were imparted on developing nation like India to reduce carbon monoxide emission, which ultimately affect the transportation by road and their development. Thus, the use of renewable energy like solar has to be incorporated in transportation in order to reduce the carbon monoxide emission without any lag in development. This is a review paper dealing with research paper published related to solar electric car. The idea of this project is to design a solar car that aims to tackle the problems related to pollution and shortage of fuel. A Smart vehicle is the one that takes all our burdens on maintenance of the vehicle while ensuring safety and comfort for the driver and the passengers. Various parameters have to be taken into account while designing such a vehicle. In our design we have divided the whole system into two major divisions namely, Vehicle monitoring system. Safety system Vehicle monitoring system includes IR sensors that sense the obstacle in front of it. This also includes sensing objects in the proximity of the vehicle which helps in parking and driving in heavy traffic. The flexible solar panel is used to generate power and keep it light weight.Item Vat photo polymerization(AIKTC, 2019) Khan, JalalPrinciple of Operation; Process; Applications : 3D Systems & CMET’s SOUP; Material
