Item Design and analysis of engine piston using composite materials(AIKTC, 2021-05) Khan, Mohd. Sirajuddin; Shaikh, Arshad (17ME88); Shaikh, Rahil (17ME95); Tamboli, Noman (17ME76); Sardar, Shoaib (17ME75)The study of this paper is to show how carbon-carbon, AlSiC, & Hyper-eutectic materials can be used as piston material rather than commonly used Aluminum Alloys, Cast Iron, etc. We have carried out Static Structural and Steady State Thermal Analysis using ANSYS WORKBENCH to examine the above mentioned materials under high stresses and dynamic loads. The main aim of our work is to increase the pressure and temperature tolerance of IC Engine piston.Item E-Bike(AIKTC, 2021-05) Khan, Mohd. Sirajuddin; Pansare, Aakif Sardarmirza (17ME61); Prajapati, Rahul Jaikishan (17ME66); Shah, Haris Saqlein (17ME83); Sayyed, Mohammed Tahir (17ME80)An e-bike, is a bike which uses rechargeable batteries and travels up to a distance of 25 to 32 km/hr. High powered varieties can travel more than 45 km/hr. The rechargeable batteries used in the e-bike generally supplies the current to the motors which makes the bike move. The motors used in the e-bikes are of two types one can be directly fitted on the hub called as hub motor and the other is mounted on the chassis and the transmission is done via chains. Depending on the current also the motors are of two types A.C. and D.C.. Mostly D.C. motors are preferred for e-bikes as it does not requires rectifier because the current supplied by the batteries are in the form of D.C current. And A.C. Motors are used in cars mostly in Tesla.Item Exoskeleton device, chairless chair(AIKTC, 2018-05) Khan, Mohd. Sirajuddin; Shaikh, Mohd.Shadab(13ME50); Shaikh, Rehan(13ME55); Siddique, Asif Q.(12ME85); Siddiqui, Abu Obaida(11ME05)The project title is design and develops the lower body exoskeleton. It is a mechanical ergonomics device that is designed around the shape and function of the human body, with segments and joints corresponding to those of the person it is externally coupled with. It’s like a chair that isn't there, but magically appears whenever you need it. In industrial, it is known as the Chair-less Chair and worker in industrial can wear it on legs like an exoskeleton. The purpose of our design revolves around the concept of enhancing the human body through the use of a lower body exoskeleton. This exoskeleton system is designed to be appropriate mechanism with human lower extremity and it operates synchronously with the human realizes .The aim of exoskeleton actuator system is to provide forces against to external load carried by user during walking, sitting, and standing motions. Although lower body exoskeletons already exist on the market, they still have shortcomings that prevent widespread use among the general public. Our method of achieving our goal consists of splitting up into smaller groups; allowing us to complete work more efficiently. The objectives of this project are to study, analyse, and develope a new mechanism that assist the human locomotion, to learn in details about how the lower body exoskeleton works and understand the concepts involved.Item Pnuematic compression molding machine(AIKTC, 2020-05) Khan, Mohd. Sirajuddin; Shaikh, Arbaaz (15ME111); Karbelkar, Husban (17DME112); Master, Unez (17DME126); Patel, Akbar (17DME134)The development of pneumatically operated compression molding machine for polymer composites. The main aim of fabricating this machine is to prepare the fiber reinforced polymer composite samples for testing purpose. Researchers working on composites for research work they require the samples of composites with different composition for the purpose of testing. For that this machine is useful for the researchers and also for the manufacturer to produce small sized less complicated plastic components. In this machine temperature of specimen dies can be controlled automatically by using sensors and by using FRL (filter, regulator and lubricator) unit, the pressure can be controlled. The low density, high strength and high stiffness to weight ratio, fiber reinforced composite materials are manufactured by this machine are low cost. In this research work, the tensile strength of test specimen of Epoxy without Fiber, Epoxy with carbon fiber, and Epoxy with coconut fiber are tested and compared.Item Universal powerflex(AIKTC, 2019-05) Khan, Mohd. Sirajuddin; Shaikh, Mohsin, Khalid (16DME174 ); Shaikh, Shehzad, Ahmed (16DME177); Sayed, Mohsin, Hussain (15ME096)Background: Developing alternative exercise programmes that can alleviate certain barriers to exercise such as psychological, environmental or socio- economical barriers, but provide similar physiological benefits e.g. increases in muscle mass and strength, is of grave importance. This pilot study aimed to assess the efficacy of a whole-body home-based exercise training (HBET) programme, incorporated into daily living activities, on skeletal muscle mass, power and strength. Methodology: In this exercise based setup utmost care is being given to brush up the routine based exercise more effectively. The exercise regarding chest is being carried out by cross fly machine while for shoulder lat pulldown is considered. The arrangement for back is made on similar setup. Providence is made for triceps and biceps also. Outcome: we review how technology can and does facilitate training from home, how it can motivate people to begin and ontinue an active lifestyle, how it can be effective in achieving results. Because older adults represents such a specific and important class of people for which home based exercise is designed.
