This means that dependability has a big role. At the moment end users allocate resources to power transformer maintenance. Resources for on-line condition monitoring on the other hand are not very significant. Reason for this is that transformers are reliable and long life components. However, failure costs might be very significant and online monitoring is justified from that point of view. This Project focuses on power transformer online condition monitoring. The goal is to find cost-effective and integrated solution which provides good-enough transformer monitoring. The subject has been studied quite a lot which tells about increasing interest towards the subject and might indicate possible markets for transformer monitoring services. In the beginning research will focus on describing maintenance and condition monitoring related terms. Also goals are defined for different stakeholders applying the Delphi method. The middle part of the work focus on power transformer structure, fault statistics, condition monitoring methods and measurement devices. Also possibilities of condition monitoring are covered.Research results are divided into two different categories. First part of the results will be related to requirements defined for power transformer condition monitoring. Results include requirements for three different ranges of transformer monitoring. Second part of the results contains a specification for pilot project to test power transformer condition monitoring methods and devicesItem Comprehensive monitoring of energy meter using GSM based modem(AIKTC, 2017-05) Khan, Yakub; Khan, Irfan (13EE23); Khan, Jafar (13EE24); Khan, Junaid (13EE25); Hawaldar, Mijahid (13EE23)The present system of energy billing is error prone and also time and labor consuming. Errors get introduced at every stage of energy billing like errors with electro-mechanical meters, human errors while noting down the meter reading, and errors while processing the paid bills and the due bills. The home appliances which consume more power causes an increase in the payment of excessive bills. The development of a fully Automated Energy Meter which is having capabilities like remote monitoring and controlling of energy meter will lead to transparency in the energy meter reading and billing system. Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) system give the information of meter reading, power cut, total load used, power disconnect and tempering on request or regularly in particular interval through SMS. This information is being sent and received by customer with the help of Global System for Mobile (GSM) communication network.Item Design of electrical SCADA system for 11KV substation(IOSR Journal of Engineering, 2019) Mulla, Rumana (16DEE65); Naikwadi, Nasrin (16DEE66); Pawar, Pranavi (16DEE68); Shaikh, Maseera (16DEE78); Khan, Yakub; Hule, ShraddhaIn Substation it is difficult to monitor and control the different parameters such as voltage, current, power factor etc. which affect the reliability of the power. As the demand for reliable electric power is become important therefore the technology "Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system "or SCADA is developed. SCADA system provide better monitoring, control and maintain the reliability of power, it can also extend the life of substations and related equipment by providing current data for troubleshooting small problems before they escalate. This paper evaluates the SCADA system has also provide the difference between the "Numerical Relay" and "Electromechanical Relay"Item Development of high voltage pulse generator module(AIKTC, 2019-05) Khan, Yakub; Mujawar, Masum (15EE31); Khan, Sariq (15EE20); Khan, Mehjabeen (13EE01); Shaikh, Akbar (15DEE27)The main objective of this project is to develop a circuit to generate a high-voltage pulse with less rise time .In this project we are use two topology in the first topology DC from the low-voltage DC by pulse generator principle. It develops an output approximately twentysix times to that of the input voltage by using capacitor and SCR combination. If the input voltage applied is around 600v volts DC, then the output voltage is around 15.6 Kvolts DC in this we get the rise time less than 300 nsec In second topology we generate high voltage pulse by giving high voltage DC at the input but In this we get the rise time less than 10 nsec . In this the input is 10 KV and the output is 9.6 KV with rise time less than 10 nsec. In this we are using RLC circuit .Item Eco friendly railway station(AIKTC, 2016-05) Khan, Yakub; Bhushan, Anil (12EE37); Shaikh, Zaid (12EE57); Siddiqui, Shahid (12EE60); Usmani, Mohd. Sageer (13EE74); Khan, Zeeshanjalil (13EE70); Shaikh, Tauqeer (12EE56)In today's modern world where the demand of the consumers for electricity requirement is going on day by day. To achieve this ELECTRICAL POWER SYSTEM is the heart which continuously pumps the electricity from one end to other end by means of transmission and distribution system. It is likely that when the demand of the consumers increases the probability of fault also increases & when the fault comes into picture it is necessary to clear the fault as early as possible. This can be achieved using various equipments eg:-C.B, relays, CT,PT etc.. In our project we have shown by means of MATLAB that how the error can be reduced in current transformer, which is the mode of providing the signal to the CB to trip. We will be showing it by means of various graphs indicating various electrical parameters. We hope that our project would be successful and it would be adopted as well in the power system network.Item Maglev wind turbine(AIKTC, 2018-05) Khan, Yakub; Kharodia, Yusuf (15DEE04); Khan, Saqlain (15DEE15); Khan, Talha (14EE28); Khan, Junaid (14EE21)As the world continues to grow and as cities continue to become more crowded and congested, our normal modes of transportation will not be able to handle these overpopulated areas. The answer to this transportation problem lies in the world of electro magnetism and superconducting magnets. Electromagnets and superconducting magnets have allowed us to create a magnetic levitating train nicknamed “Maglev” that floats on the track instead of being directly on it. This has a lot of potential to create trains that are super fast with low maintenance requirements. China is the first country in the world to commercially use MagLevs, and has already helped ease the congestion on the six lane highway leading from the Pudong Shanghai International Airport to Shanghai Lujiazui financial district. This new technology has already helped China in a short period of time and can certainly help other cities around the world that are just as congested as Shanghai.Item Maintenance of 220KV electrical equipment under ADANI electricity(AIKTC, 2019-05) Khan, Yakub; Khan, Azharuddin (15EE16); Shaikh, Gulam Jilani (15EE39); Chaudhary, Mushtaque (14EE30); Sayed, Mohd.
