Item Design of solar power charging station(AIKTC, 2022-05) Momin, Nafe; Kutty, Rishabh (17ME73); Shaikh, Saad (16ME76); Toya, Mohammed Saqlain (17ME101); Shaikh, Muqtasid (17ME94)A solar powered charging station is designed so that devices can be charged outdoors and in an environmentally friendly way. This system converts solar energy to electricity and stores it in a battery bank. The primary reason why people don’t prefer electric vehicles is because of the unavailability of charging stations. Charging stations, unlike petrol bunks, aren’t available everywhere. There always exists a fear as to what might happen if the vehicle runs out of battery. People are worried about more straightforward and faster commuting methods in our country rather than saving the Earth from the ill effects caused by pollution. The project mainly deals with a simple solution to make charging stations more accessible. The solution involves using public electricity and solar panels for the easy and hassle-free charging of Electric Vehicle. The potential need for electric vehicles charging station and infrastructure and it’s challenges for the India scenario are studied.Further more Understanding the topic And searching the location of the charging station and preparing algorithm according to requirement is presented Key word : electric vehicles ,charging station, grid energy, solar energy.Item Device for measurement of textile for powerloom Industry(AIKTC, 2022-05) Momin, Nafe; Kazi, Anas Asim (15ME04); Kaskar, Saif Liyakat (15ME11); Patel, Arbaz Ashruddin (15ME89); Khan, Shahab Ahmed (17ME43)In Bhiwandi there are thousands of power looms that work with old and outdate technology. Measurement of manufactured textile happens manually by hand which can leave gaps for inaccuracy, waste of time and resources. In an industry that is financially weak, the scope for innovation or upgradation to modern technology is less. This project makes one aspect of the power loom industry a little bit better by offering them a measurement device that can simply measure their textile output for a day when it is getting inspected. We have visited the industries in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra for surveys and on-site learning about the technical difficulties faced by the industries and discussed about the small improvements that can be made in the factories with owners, workers and our professors. An idea was formed and after some brainstorming the concept of this project was clear to us. We aimed to make it easy for the owners and the workers to find out their textile output for the day so that it can be documented easily and payments to labour workers will be done in right amounts. The project is simple, cost effective and the device can be installed anywhere in the factories easily.
