Item Augmented reality for educational enhancement(AIKTC, 2017-05) Panwala, Sameer; Shaikh, Abdus Salam; Ghare, Abdullah (13CO29); Kazi, Shadab (13CO34); Khan, Mohammed (13CO38); Rangwala, Mustafa (13CO52)Augmented Reality superimposes virtual objects over real world environment. Educators know that learning deepens, not just through reading and listening, but also through creating and interacting. This proposed project of ours aims to enhance current educational system using Augmented Reality. We are developing an application which will show animations, videos and 3D models of educational material. This project can enhance learning, creativity and retention among students. Our application will also foster intellectual curiosity among students making them smarter. We aim to change the conventional way of education and open a new opportunity towards a smart classroom.Item Auto generaion of 3D model using multiple 3D graphics and manifest through augmented reality(AIKTC, 2018-05) Panwala, Sameer; Khedwala, Maria [14CO03]; Momin, Mohd Furkan [15DCO55]; Pachhapure, Uzair R [15DCO59]; Shaikh, Sameer [15DCO73]Images are more ambient than words similarly the 3D models are more descriptive than 2D pictures. 3D model of any product will give the enhanced information about it. The main objective of generating the 3D model is to reduce the amount of time by automating the process of generating the 3D model. Augmented Reality (AR) technologies have been recognized as offering great benefit to almost every field and organizations, although they are not easy to implement. AR provides enhanced information of the product by overlaying the 3D model into the real world. 3D models can express the shape and dimensions of the products with greater precision and they are being extensively used these days. In this project, we have implemented a 3D Modeling application which will take only a few 2D images as input from any image capturing device taken from different angles and it will automatically convert it into a 3D model. The first step towards generating the 3D model from the images is to establish point correspondence which includes feature extraction and feature matching. Then refining correspondence is done followed by de-calibration of 3D structure and camera pose. The final step is texture mapping and rendering. We are using an e-commerce portal as an example to display the 3D models generated by our 3D Modeling application. Most often customers shopping on e-commerce websites do not get complete information about the product by only viewing the 2D images. They can get a better understanding of the product by using AR View. The adaptation of Augmented Reality (AR) will take e-commerce to the next level.Item Disease Diagnosis Using Android(AIKTC, 2016-05) Panwala, Sameer; Syed, Mohd Atif Hanif Hazara (12CO60); Deshmukh, Mohsin Mahmood Goher (13CO77); Shaikh, Saman Mohammad Umar Asma (13CO64); Rizvi, Irfan Shabihul Hasan Nasrin Fatima (12CO55)Disease diagnosis / Medical diagnoses is the process of determining which disease or condition explains a person’s symptoms and signs. It is most often referred to as diagnosis with the medical context being implicit. The information required for diagnosis is typically collected from a case history and physical examination of the person seeking medical care. Diagnosis is often challenging, because many signs and symptoms are non-specific.The term Diagnosis refers to determination of the nature of a cause of a disease. In computer science it is a typically used to determine the cause of symptoms and solutions. Our system enables to deliver health care, diagnose patients, provide therapy, suggest medicines and gives health tips related to users disease. The main aim is to provide expert-based health care to understaffed remote sites and to provide advanced emergency to the user that is using the application.Item Enhancing retail shopping through augmented reality(AIKTC, 2017-05) Panwala, Sameer; Khan, Afsha (13CO06); Chavan, Pravin (13CO22); Khan, Vajidali (13CO44); Sawant, Ajinkya (13CO53)Shopping in malls are harmoniously considered as the ultimate defender of the retail expansion and customer preference, even in this era of online assault. This paper propose Enhancing Retail Shopping with the existence of augmented reality. The imperative functionality of this project is to provide a facility or a tool to the people from which they can view nearby malls with all available shops in them. Apart from this, indoor navigation is also provided for locating prefered shops inside the malls, coupled with product and shop review to make shopping experience easy for the customer. For speeding up the retrieving process a separate database will also be provided for every mall. The purpose of using augmented reality is to provide real life shopping experience through smart-phone. This project the Augmented reality module to design the software.Item Implementation of Information Kiosk for BARC Hospital(AIKTC, 2016-05) Panwala, Sameer; Kadam, Pooja Laxman Lilavati(11CO01); Mishra, Preeti Ravindra Vimla (11CO02)Kiosk has been part of human life for many years and centuries. Technology impacted kiosk to be operated independently to serve mankind. In modern world, kiosk is not just a computer with a touch screen enclosed in a box but is an integration of Mechanical, Computer Hardware, Software, Peripherals and Embedded Controllers and to build it requires high order domain expertise and intellectual power. The aim of the hospital Kiosk project is to pave the way for more advanced hospital services applications with user interface. We have attempted to quantify the benefit to both patients and professional users by introducing a self-service kiosks. We then estimated the time savings and other benefits. There were significant time savings both for nursing, General Practioner (GP) staff and similar time savings for patients. The key to successful implementation appears to be strong support, particularly from reception staff to encourage and facilitate the use of kiosks. This paper is used to guide technical audiences who want to develop kiosk systems, organizations willing to start sale through kiosks and functional beginners who want to possess basic knowledge of the kiosk systems. In IT world it is a common scenario where client provides business objectives and high level requirement to build the complete system and they are not in a position to provide all the details of the system one is expecting to be developed.Item Locating Branded And Generic Medicines Using GPS Navigation System(AIKTC, 2016-05) Panwala, Sameer; Shaikh, Samreen Yusuf Mohummed Mehrunnisa(11CO07); Shaikh, Shafiqqurahman Abu Aamir Shaheen (13CO74); Mukati, Ubaid Mohd.Anwar Sardar Akhtar(12CO48); Wagho, Sadiya Munir Haseena (12CO89); Tamboli, Sufiyan Yunus Salma(11CO46)This system will show all the details about the medical stores and medicines as per the user requirement. The real time location of user is tracked by using GPS (Global Positioning System). Our real-time tracking management system is composed of three components, a GPS Tracking Device, a server and a database. The GPS tracking is done by GPS enabled android mobile that transmits the location to the server through the GPRS. Through this application user come to know the name and availability of generic medicines in different chemist stores. Dijkstra’s algorithm is used to find the nearest medical stores according to the location .On the other hand Data mining classification algorithm is used to give the generic medicine availability on behalf of branded medicine.
