Our project is solely focused towards the processes that are employed when it comes to the manufacturing of the components in any industry. The sequence that has to be followed that leads to the transformation of raw material into a finished product has been thoroughly outlined in our project coursework. A set of defined operations that are performed at workstations for the purpose of converting raw material into a finished product is termed as production process. The method of preparing a detailed instructional guide for the manufacturing and assembly of components into a completely finished product can be termed as ‘Process Planning’. The aim of any industry is to utilize its machinery and equipment system in the most efficient way possible which will yield the desired results. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to plan the processes beforehand that will be needed to be carried out during manufacturing i.e. Process Planning.
