MIMO help for the best quality of signal and OFDM for attaining lower bandwidth. Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) systems use more than one antenna at both ends of the communication link. Over the past decade, the use of MIMO system has rapidly gained popularity due to its enhanced performance capabilities of improved Reliability, Spatial Diversity Gain and Spatial Multiplexing Gain. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is one of the best digital modulation schemes, where signal is divided into number of narrow band signals to obtain spectrum efficiency and minimizing the Inter Symbol Interference (ISI). Thus, combining MIMO and OFDM technologies will improve spectral efficiency, Link reliability, spectral gain and data rate. The main aim of MIMO-OFDM systems is to combine OFDM technology with the techniques of MIMO systems. The growing demand of multimedia services and the growth of Internet related contents lead to increasing interest to high speed communications. OFDM is a type of multichannel modulation that divides a given channel into many parallel sub channels or subcarriers, so that multiple symbols are sent in parallel.Item Analysis of performance of VOIP over various scenarios(AIKTC, 2015-05) Tamboli, Mujib; Ligade, Priyanka (11ET03); Thevar, Shruthi (11ET06); Abdul Qaiyum, Mohammed Ishaq (11ET35); Chougule, Mubeen (12ET67)Voice over IP (VOIP) uses the Internet Protocol (IP) to transmit voice as packets over an IP network. So VOIP can be achieved on any data network that uses IP, like Internet, Intranets and Local Area Networks (LAN). Here the voice signal is digitized, compressed and converted to IP packets and then transmitted over the IP network. Signaling protocols are used to set up and tear down calls, carry information required to locate users and negotiate capabilities. VoIP is an advanced technology that has a great potential to develop new telecommunication with much lower cost and better QoS. In our project, we shall analyze the performance of VoIP over digital communication on popular application such as Skype and msn. Parameters of interest are the quality of service, the Mean Opinion Score, packet loss ratio and jitter. We also plan to examine the delays and distortion issues that VoIP might have while increasing the traffic load and generate a more realistic topology by adding extra models to the system and evaluate the impact to the overall QoS.Item Attendance system using face recognition and biometric(AIKTC, 2018-05) Tamboli, Mujib; Parkar, Aamir (15DET70); Choudhary, Maksud (15DET56); Momin, Rehan (14ET31); Mansuri, Mohd. Based on Convolutional Neural Networks, our deep network features a fusion layer that allows us to elegantly merge local information dependent on small image patches with global priors computed using the entire image. The entire framework, including the global and local priors as well as the colorization model, is trained in an end-to-end fashion. Furthermore, our architecture can process images of any resolution, unlike most existing approaches based on CNN. We leverage an existing large-scale scene classification database to train our model, exploiting the class labels of the dataset to more efficiently and discriminatively learn the global priors. We validate our approach with a user study and compare against the state of the art, where we show significant improvements. Furthermore, we demonstrate our method extensively on many different types of images, including black-and-white photography from over a hundred years ago, and show realistic colorization. The final classification-based model we build generates colorized images that are significantly more aesthetically-pleasing than those created by the baseline regression-based model, demonstrating the viability of our methodology and revealing promising avenues for future work.Item Comparative study of IP & MPLS technology(AIKTC, 2015-05) Tamboli, Mujib; Haji, Mohd. Sharukh Haroon; Shaikh, Sameer; Gite, Mohd. Mukhtar; Shaikh, Mohd. JavedMPLS is in discussion since last decade. It has been introduced to improve the performance and speed of the backbone network. There has been demand for transition from conventional network to the MPLS network in the service providers network. A comparative study and performance behaviour of the service providers network with MPLS network under different traffic conditions with various services is being proposed. An experimentation will be carried out on MPLS network with different traffic conditions to support the performance analysis on service provider routers. There has been significant improvement in the demand for the bandwidth requirement in the near future. This requires the access network and the backbone network to be significantly improved with respect to various services. Specifically a high speed network with a improvement in performance in expected at the backbone network. One of the contenders for the above problem is MPLS protocols. A network with MPLS protocols will take care of all the future demands for large bandwidth access for the subscribers. The analysis of the MPLS protocols has been carried out which has been reported in literature. A performance analysis of MPLS network under different traffic conditions and under different services is required before it is deployed in the field. Wireshark ,VLC, Jperf are some open source tools used for traffic generation and network analysis . This work proposes analysis of network performance parameter such as Latency, Throughput, Packet Loss, Jitter with traditional routing and MPLS. Testing scenario is created in with Service Provider MPLS enabled router and MPLS protocol features are analysed .Item Efficient authentication for mobile and prevasive computing(AIKTC, 2022-05) Tamboli, Mujib; Sayyed, Mohammed Novman Irfan (19DET18); Shaikh, Adnan Farook (19DET19); Shaikh, Asif Ahsan (19DET20)Message authentication is typically achieved by using message authentication codes (MACs) authenticated encryption or digital signatures. The message authentication code, also known as digital authenticator, is used as an integrity check based on a secret key shared by two parties to authenticate information transmitted betenthem. It is based on using a cryptographic hash or symmetric encryption algorithm. The authentication key is only shared by at least two parties or two communicating devices but it will fail in the existence of a third party since the algorithm will no longer be effective in detecting forgeries. In addition, the key must also be randomly generated to avoid its recovery through brute force searches and related key attacks designed to identify it from the messages transiting the medium. Securing the user message by providing authentication and security if the authenticated message must also be encrypted. With today's technology, many applications rely on the existence of small devices that can exchange information and form communication networks. In a significant portion of such applications, the confidentiality and integrity of the communicated messages are of particular interest. In this work, we propose two novel techniques for authenticating short encrypted messages that are directed to meet the requirements of mobile and pervasive applications. By taking advantage of the fact that the message to be authenticated must also be encrypted, we propose provably secure authentication codes that are more efficient than any message authentication code in the literature. The key idea behind the proposed techniques is to utilize the security that the encryption algorithm can provide to design more efficient authentication mechanisms, as opposed to using standalone authentication primitives.Item Hotel management system web based(AIKTC, 2022-05) Tamboli, Mujib; Shaikh, Afrin Sabir (18ET05); Khan, Mohd Sajid (18ET21); Khan, Rahil (18ET23); Khan, Shahnawaz (18ET24)Hotel Management System is a project that keeps record of hotel application and has facilities for booking, making registrations and generating of payment receipt and entering room hotel rates, meal type, bedding type etc. Manual systems have limitations, like space to store data and low working speed. For a fact, the recommendation can never be a cent percent correct at providing recommendations to the user but can be close enough to please them to a certain extent. Thus, the same is widely used in the industries these days to get higher profit and have a good hold in the market. In the spread of information, how to quickly find one’s favorite movie in a large number of movies collection become a very important issue. A movie recommendation system can play an important role especially when the user has no clear target movie. This System would benefit those users who have to use search engines to locate relevant content. They have to scroll through pages of results to find relevant content. Rather than searching for a similar movie, the users of this system would be directly taken to relevant movies matching their interests and preferences. In this project we will work on Content-Based Movie Recommendation Systems It uses attributes such as genre, director, description, actors, etc. for movies, to make suggestions for the users. The intuition behind this sort of recommendation system is that if a user liked a particular movie or show, he/she might like a movie or a show similar to it.Item Multi-task surveillance robot using IoT(AIKTC, 2019-05) Tamboli, Mujib; Khan, Aamir (15ET25); Itemad, Hyder (15ET22); Shaikh, Mohd. But it is not so, they find applications in different fields, ranging from simple household chores to space explorations. There are different ways to control these robots, but imagine the case of controlling a robot miles and miles away through the internet. This project describes the use of internet to control the robot movement from a remote end by means of a visual feedback so that user can see the movement of the robot from anywhere. It utilizes the Smartphone and Arduino microcontroller along with necessary sensors which satisfy all the requirements for the indoor and outdoor monitoring. The Smartphone is an integration of all the sensors and modules and thus the use of Smartphone reduces the cost and complexity. The use of Internet for transmission as well as reception eliminates the range restriction and hence the Robot can be controlled from anywhere up to any range. Android gives the liberty to design any required application for outdoor exploration and indoor monitoring. Arduino provides easy interfacing with the Smartphone, Sensors and Android applications.Item RF protection interlock system for lehipa(AIKTC, 2016-05) Tamboli, Mujib; Dalvi, Abdul (12ET17); Sivanandan, Ashwini (11ET05); Siddiqui, Rehan (12ET60)Nuclear Power appears to be an inevitable option as future energy source; but disposal of nuclear waste is an important issue of concern in harnessing nuclear energy through “critical reactors”, which needs to be addressed satisfactorily. In India, economic exploitation of nuclear power is considerably dependent on Uranium &Thorium. Accelerator-Driven System (ADS) has the potential to provide an additional route to an efficient use of the available uranium and thorium resources, besides offering a way towards nuclear waste incineration. o The most challenging part of this CW proton accelerator is development of the low-energy injector, typically up to 20 MeV, because the space charge effects are maximal here. Therefore, BARC has initiated a programme for the development of a Low Energy (20 MeV) High Intensity Proton Accelerator (LEHIPA) as front-end injector of the 1 GeV accelerator for the ADS programme. RF Protection Interlock (RFPI) system has been developed for the protection of high power RF components in LEHIPA. The system consists of six VME64X based modules which processes output of different sensors. The system is designed based on a mezzanine card approach with a common base board. All the function specific boards are mounted as mezzanine boards. After detecting any fault, time required for RFPI system to switch off RF power to the cavities is less than 1us. The system consists of the following modules. 1. Multi trip module- processes the pickup RF signals from directional couplers. 2. Photo Multiplier Tube (PMT) module- processes output signals from PMTs 3. Field Emission Probe (FEP) module- processes output of field emission probes 4. Photo diode module- processes optical signal or arc signals from the system 5. Photo transistor module- processes output of photo transistor which is mounted on RF window 6. System control module-which processes RF leakage signals from wave guide joints and also generates RESET and Video Pulse signals to other modules of the system.Item Smart medicine box(AIKTC, 2018-05) Tamboli, Mujib; Shaikh, Roman (15DET127); Shaikh, Wasim Ahmed (15DET130); Ansari, Abu Talha (15DET82); Farooqi, Meraj (15DET92)Most of the people, from young age to the old age forget to take medicines on time.
