Design and Fabrication of Domestic Hydro Turbine
(International Journal of Latest Technology in Engineering, Management & Applied Science (IJLTEMAS), 2017-03) Motiwala, Nawaz; Kothavale, Ashlesha (13ME01); Salunkhe, Sonal (13ME02); Wadkar, Pooja (13ME03)
Day by day the demand of electricity increases, due to growing population & commercialization. The power consumption is more than generation by conventional method. Hence, hydroelectricity exist as one of the option to meet the growing demand for energy by nonconventional method. The performance of hydro turbine is strongly influence by the characteristic of water inertia. So in this paper we are attempting the way of micro generation of hydropower for domestic purpose.

(AIKTC, 2017-05) Motiwala, Nawaz; Ansari, Maaz (14DME124); Shaikh, Shamnan (13ME51); Salunkhe, Sonal (13ME02); Wadkar, Pooja (13ME03)
Energy is the prime source of all socio-economic activities of the human community.. There is an impending need to make much more forays to make Non-Conventional energy attain popular acclaim. This is also very essential to preserve the conventional sources of energy and explore viable alternatives like sustainable energy (the energy which we are already utilizing but for some safety of other uses we are suddenly wasting it, that can be reutilized), solar, wind and hydro that can enhance sustainable growth. Our objectives are to support efforts for developing, demonstrating and commercializing new and emerging technologies in the RE sector, and to this end, help establish linkages with national and international institutions for active collaboration, to establish dedicated renewable energy “Special Economic Zones” (SEZ) to promote renewable energy projects. With this project we can save economy per month & the cost required for this project can be payback in 5.95 years and after that it will be free with negligible maintenance cost and eco-friendly for environment.
