In this paper we are promoting such business with technical support of android application. A Discount Card is a card, that allows the individual to avail discounts on the prices of some products or services. It intends the conditions agreed upon between the business companies for a specific series of coupons regarding the validation and redemption. This system proposes an easiest solution for more profit making business for Discount Card Management. A method of QR Code is introduced where the information of the customer will be encoded in the QR (Quick Response) Code in the encrypted form. The Merchant on the other hand will have a scanner to scan this QR code available with the customer. This management application will help the business company to keep a track of a where about of the coupons where they are redeemed, who has redeemed and various other Statistics. Let us consider a person XYZ, an authorized owner of the said discount card wants to use this app. The customer goes to a specific shop which has a tie up with the business group and has agreed to avail the discount to its customers. The shop owner will scan the QR code available with the customer to validate the personal. This scanning will be visible to our business group and help them to keep a track of all the Statistical Analysis.Item Extracting distinctive ingredients from cuisines using data analytic techniques(AIKTC, 2018-05) Bodke, Kalpana R.; Khan, Shaista Agha (14CO02); Momin, Saniya (14CO04); Shivankar, Sneha (14CO08)Data analysis is a process which is required to analyze a given set of data. This process is very much needed today where information is extracted and transformed into a format which is easy to process and interpret. In this paper, we consider techniques for identifying and classifying ingredients and aim to explore what are the essential ingredients that are required for a given cuisine. Each nation has its own unique ingredients that make their cuisine iconic. If we look at a particular cuisine, estimating its ingredients even if there is sufficient data, is a tedious task as the ingredients of the same cuisine differ from region to region and according to the culture. The problems faced by the users in the existing search system is getting just the recipe and ingredients. It does not classify the essential ingredients required to cook a particular dish. So, we propose a project that will extract the ingredients of the given cuisine from various websites on the web with the help of web scraping tools or techniques, then display the most essential ingredients amongst them by using data mining techniques and sorting as well as filtering algorithms. Web scraping is a process of extracting data from the web world through various methods. It involves fetching a web page and extracting data from it. Data mining techniques will help predict knowledge-driven decisions. This will include performing analyses on different data sets extracted and the genuine ingredients of every individual country, identifying them and then display them after filtration. Thousands of recipes which represent different national cuisines will be analyzed so that a better output can be generated which distinguishes the common and distinctive ingredients of each nation. As the tourists are provided with printed guide booklet to find out interesting places during the visit. As the tourists are unaware of up to date information and proper navigation, tourists are not able to visit all the destinations. Mobile phones were normally used for communication purpose. Travel offline virtual support through locational reminder and suggestions using data analytic. The web and Android application developed to show how the architecture works and has a lot of important features for tourists such as book- ing, maps and places, events, weather, travel partner and many others discussed in this paper. Nowadays mobile phones are used for various technologies like GPS and browsing over Inter- net. Mobile phones are equipped with various functionality. We can use this functionalities in our system. The proposed system provides many services to the users like displaying the short- est route between the sources and destinations the tourist specify. We are using data and web scrapping to get the data from the websites .we will be using various API available in market for maps and navigation purposes. The application gets the current location of the user through GPS in the form of longitude and latitude and this information is send to the server.
