dc.description.abstract | Themainaim oftheprojectistocontrolhomeapplicationsremotelyby usingAndroid-OS-basedsmartphone.Thisisanadvancedtechnologyinthe homeautomation.Usuallyconventionalwallswitchesarelocatedindifferent cornersofahouseand,thusnecessitatetheneedofmanualoperationslike pressingtoturntheloadsonoroff.Itbecomesverydifficultfortheelderlyor physicallyhandicappedpeopletooperatethem.Thus,theproposedsystem is enhancedtocontrolhomeapplicationsthroughanAndroid-basedapplicationof smartphonesortabletsthatofferstheprovision forentering theselected numbersforoperatingthecorrespondingload.Thisproposedsystem workswith acircuitcalledRaspberrypi3andarectifiedpowersupply.AWiFiconnectionis usedforcommunication.OnceanownerconnectsanAndroidapplicationdevice tothissystem throughaWiFi,thentheownercansendthecontrolsignals throughtheWiFi.TheownercanalsoentertheselectedoptionontheAndroid applicationthroughtheGUIforcorrespondingloads,andthedataissenttothe raspberrypi.Thereceiveddataiscomparedwiththestoreddataintheraspberry piand,ifitmatches,thentheraspberrypiperformsthecorrespondingoperation forcontrollingloads | en_US |
