Item Location based task reminder(AIKTC, 2015-05) Bodke, Kalpana; Patil, Sagar (11CO34); Shaikh, Gulsher (11CO40)Personal task reminders have been indispensable for modern people, in order to remind them of their tasks at specific circumstances. Traditional paper based reminders are still useful, but they cannot be organized efficiently. Electronic reminders based on the calendar in Cell phones are more efficient and gaining popularity, but such reminders are mostly triggered by time. In many situations, tasks are only meaningful to be performed at a specific location, so it would be useful if reminders for those tasks can be triggered only when the person to be reminded is physically near or located at that location. Therefore, in this research, we develop a location-based personal task reminder for Android-based smart phones and tablets. To distinguish our work from existing ones that rely solely on the GPS technology, we take advantage of the ubiquity of IEEE 802.11 WLAN infrastructure to Compliment the ‘‘blind spots’’ of GPS location sensing. Combining the two technologies makes it possible for the personal task reminder to be effective in both indoor and outdoor environments. We also propose two operating models for the personal task reminder to boost the usability of the application. Furthermore, as long as the WLANinfrastructure is available, our work as a foundation of location-based services can easily be extended to be used in many other scenarios, such as guiding in public transportation systems or tourist attractions, location based learning, and even caring of the Dementia residents.Item Real Time Product Analysis using Data Mining(AIKTC, 2015-05) Khan, Tabrez; Ansari, Mohd Azam Mohd Salim Reshma Bano(11CO53); Jawahire, Nakash Karim Zohra(11CO56); Shaikh, Anas Munawwar Aisha(11CO38); Siddiqi, Muzammil Ahmad Mansoor Ahmad Razia Begum(11CO55)E-commerce is widely increasing business in the world with increasing revenues every year by manifold times. This is simple indication that more people each day are moving on-line for shopping. It suggests that the preference of the people are changing. People are preferring to buy products more and more from on-line e-commerce websites. They are successfully able to bring the customer in confidence and overcoming the risk involved in on-line transactions by carefully analyzing the behavior of the buyers/sellers and cultivating confidence among the resellers and buyers by developing strategies to attract more business and participation from people. Here comes the existence of price comparison engines into picture which enable the buyers to compare products from different E-commerce websites thus facilitating the buyers to purchase the product at the cheapest price. There are many factors that are involved in developing a successful product. The success of the product is defined by the usefulness and the influence the product has on the human life. The Real Time Product analysis using data mining is enables the real time comparison of products on the basis of the prices and other parameters that are obtained though different E-commerce websites. To obtain prices and other parameters of the products from different E-commerce websites , a web Crawler is used that can crawl to different E-commerce websites and fetch the URLs of the products. Once the URL of the products are available, scrapper scrape the details that were abstracted within the URL. This scrapped data is then stored in the database. Then comparison among the products of the different E-commerce websites is being made by using techniques such as inverted indexing. This way the Project aims to provide a solution which grants power in the hands of the users to purchase genuine products at genuine prices and saving user’s time , money and efforts.Item Surveillance Robot controlled using an Android app(AIKTC, 2015-05) Bodke, Kalpana; Shaikh, Shoeb Maroof Nasima (12CO92); Ansari, Asgar Ali Shamshul Haque Shakina (12CO106); Khan, Sufiyan Liyaqat Ali Kalimunnisa (12CO81); Mir, Ibrahim Salim Farzana (12CO82)The robotics and automation industry which is ruled the sectors from manufacturing to household entertainments. Automatic patrolling vehicle for periodic patrolling in defined or a restricted area, the patrolling vehicle can move automatically to monitor the dead zones and capture the images by using the camera.Item Image stitching algorithm based on feature extraction(AIKTC, 2015-05) Khan, Mubashir; Ansari, Mohd Manzoor Maqsood Rehana (12CO65)This paper proposes a novel edge-based stitching method to detect moving objects and construct mosaics from images. The method is a coarse-to-fine scheme which first estimates a good initialization of camera parameters with two complementary methods and then refines the solution through an optimization process. The two complementary methods are the edge alignment and correspondence-based approaches, respectively. The edge alignment method estimates desired image translations by checking the consistencies of edge positions between images. This method has better capabilities to overcome larger displacements and lighting variations between images. The correspondence-based approach estimates desired parameters from a set of correspondences by using a new feature extraction scheme and a new correspondence building method. The method can solve more general camera motions than the edge alignment method. Since these two methods are complementary to each other, the desired initial estimate can be obtained more robustly. After that, a Monte-Carlo style method is then proposed for integrating these two methods together. In this approach, a grid partition scheme is proposed to increase the accuracy of each try for finding the correct parameters. After that, an optimization process is then applied to refine the above initial parameters. Different from other optimization methods minimizing errors on the whole images, the proposed scheme minimizes errors only on positions of features points. Since the found initialization is very close to the exact solution and only errors on feature positions are considered, the optimization process can be achieved very quickly. Experimental results are provided to verify the superiority of the proposed method.Item PHR Based Health Care And Emergency Aid System Using Google Cloud Messaging(AIKTC, 2015-05) Bodke, Kalpana; Kazi, Ravish (11CO17)PHR stands for Personal Health Record. PHR is a tool that a person can use to collect, track and share past and current information about his health or the health of someone under his care. This concept of PHR Based Health Care System can act as a bridge between patient and doctor with no restriction of time and place. In this System, the patient has his own PHR record and can update his PHR record and can also links his family doctor to his PHR record. When a patient updates his PHR record, the doctor who is linked with his PHR record will get an automatic notification regarding the updation of PHR record by the patient. Thus doctor receives updates about the current condition of a patient and can also give suggestion to the patient as required. Emergency Aid System, abbreviated as EAS, is a system that provides emergency medical care. Once it is activated by an incident that causes serious illness or injury, the focus of EAS is emergency medical care of the patient(s).The Concept of Emergency Aid System using PHR is- Suppose, if a person having a PHR record meets with an accident, he can immediately notify through his digital device about his accident to the nearest registered hospital from the location where he met with the accident. The corresponding hospital will get notification about the accident, which contains person’s user id for his PHR record, using which the hospital staff can get the past and present health record of the concerned person, and location information or Geo co-ordinates where the accident has taken place. Thus the hospital staff can get the person’s health related information and location where accident has taken place, in advance and thus can do emergency treatment appropriately. The project is implemented on android platform.Item Smart electronic billing(AIKTC, 2015-05) Lokhande, P. S.; Muqri, Hamza (11CO30); Rangari, Nabeel (12CO98); Shrivas,Saurabh (11CO43); Usmani, Sahil (11CO48)In recent trends, Customers prefer to do online shopping though more than 50% of the customers are not satisfied in quality, size and worthiness of the products. For touch and feel satisfaction, choice of items customers wanted to go for direct shopping comparatively. Even in direct shopping, Customers feel hard to buy large number of products as it is difficult to carry the items throughout the shopping. Billing process consumes more time especially during the weekends and results to loss of patience among customers. Thereby introducing a new methodology here which overcomes the drawbacks mentioned in direct shopping. This methodology is the smartest way of shopping where the customer can choose the product directly based on the quality and the size by scanning the bar code on the price tag of the product via mobile application. This eliminates the carrying of items throughout the shopping. This will also provide an easier way of billing the items using the mobile application. Billing is made easy as this process does not require manual/traditional way of cash payment. Thus this methodology not only comforts the customers but also the merchants as it provides a trouble-free approach for shopping. HamzaItem Image segmentation for MRI brain tumor(AIKTC, 2015-05) Khan, Mubashir; Mapari, Waqas Moinuddin Zaibunnisa (12CO103); Khan, Siddiqa bee Shamsher shenaaz (12CO80); Rajwadkar, Ifrah Ayaz Zaibunnisa (11CO06)The task of detecting the position of tumor (the so called gross tu- mor volume-GT)in the body of the patient is the starting point for a medical treatment. In the conformal radiotherapy the tumor cells are irradiated and killed with high precision without damaging the neighboring healthy tissues. Usually, a medical doctor recognizes the GTV and designs its border lines manually on the computer tomography slices (CT-SCAN).The CT-SCAN procedure affects the consequence planning target volume (PTV) of irradiation, ei- ther if it is decided by the same medical doctor or by the automatic supporting system. The main objective of this study is to design a computer system able to detect the presence of a tumor in the digital images of the brain and to accurately define is border line. The basic assumption is that different local textures in images can describe different physical characteristics corresponding to differ- ent objects. We will be using this in wide range of field such as Bio medical informatics, Oceanography, Computer vision. We assume that the local texture of tumor cells is highly different from local texture of other biological tissues. Thus texture measurement in the image could be part of an effective discrimination technique between healthy tissues and possible tumor areas. A computer system has been design to recognize the typical fea- 1 tures of the tumor from the digital images of the brain. The basic concept is that local texture in the images can reveal the typical regularities of the biological structures. Thus, the textual features have been extracted using a co-occurrence matrix approach. The level of recognition, among three possible types of image areas are: tumor, non tumor, non tumor and back ground. We are focus- ing on tumor image segmentation .Item Tracking Android Devices Using GCM(AIKTC, 2016-05) Siddiq, Salman Mohd Tahir Shehzadi Begum (12CO72); Shaikh, Mohd Tabrez Mohd Salim Rehana Khatun (12CO69); Khan, Intekhab Alam Mohd Nasim Taqdeerunnisa (12CO38); Mohammed, Harish Mohammad Danish Hajra Khatoon(12CO43); Shaikh, JavedSmartphone users are increasing rapidly in this ICT enabled society. S.; Shaikh, Abedulla Dastageer Nasrin (12CO97); Rakhangi, AasimHanifMunira (11CO36)Web Applications form an integral part of our day to day life. The number of attacks on websites and the compromise of many individuals secure data are increasing at an alarming rate. With the advent of social networking and e-commerce, web security attacks such as phishing and spamming have become quite common. The consequences of these attacks are ruthless. Hence, providing increased amount of security for the users and their data becomes essential. Most important vulnerability as described in top 10 web security issues by Open Web Application Security Project is SQL Injection Attack (SQLIA). This paper focuses on how the advantages of randomization can be employed to prevent SQL injection attacks in web based applications. SQL injection can be used for unauthorized access to a database to penetrate the application illegally, modify the database or even remove it. For a hacker to modify a database, details such as field and table names are required. So we try to propose a solution to the above problem by preventing it using an encryption algorithm based on randomization and other solution is using Hirschberg algorithm, it is a divide and conquer approach to reduce the time and space complexity. It has better performance and provides increased security in comparison to the existing solutions. Also the time to crack the database takes more time when techniques such as dictionary and brute force attack are deployed. Our main aim is to provide increased security by developing a tool which prevents illegal access to the database.Item Locating Branded And Generic Medicines Using GPS Navigation System(AIKTC, 2016-05) Panwala, Sameer; Shaikh, Samreen Yusuf Mohummed Mehrunnisa(11CO07); Shaikh, Shafiqqurahman Abu Aamir Shaheen (13CO74); Mukati, Ubaid Mohd.Anwar Sardar Akhtar(12CO48); Wagho, Sadiya Munir Haseena (12CO89); Tamboli, Sufiyan Yunus Salma(11CO46)This system will show all the details about the medical stores and medicines as per the user requirement.
