Item Accident alert and pothole detection system(AIKTC, 2018-05) Khan, Mubashir; Khan, Sarfaraz H (14CO42); Malim, Usama I (14CO34); Ansari, Mohd Junaid (15DCO44)India witnessed one of the highest road accidents in the world, as stated by Union road transport and highways ministry in 2016. Road accident often takes place due to bad road weather condition, reckless driving etc. Accident occurring are often not noticed or reported late that leads to loss of victim’s life or serious injuries caused permanently. One of the problems associated with bad road condition is the pothole on road. Accident Alert Pothole Detection System (AAPDS)is a system designed for reporting of accident and potholes on roads. The System consists of various sensors that are used for sensing accident’s and pothole’s on roads. A smartphone is used to provide exact location of accidents using GSM GPS module present in smartphone after the response from the sensor is taken. A map is provided to navigate the location of accident. Similarly a sensor is used for sensing pothole’s. This data is then processed by the processing module send to the smartphone, where the map is used to display the location of pothole’s. Further the collection of such data can be send to concern authorities where this kind of data is stored and managed for managing the road condition and providing prior warning of accident prone area.Item Accident alert system(AIKTC, 2021-05) Khan, Mubashir; Ansari, Mohd Aamir Mohd Sharif (17CO38); Nathani, Aamir Haneef (17CO39); Khan, Nazim Matiullah (17CO31); Ansari, Faisal (17DCO62)Nowadays, Driver drowsiness is one of the major cause for most of the accidents in the world. Detecting the driver eye tiredness is the easiest way for measuring the drowsiness of driver. The existing systems in the literature, are providing slightly less accurate results due to low clarity in images and videos, which may result due to variations in the camera positions. In order to solve this problem, a driver drowsiness detection system is proposed in this paper, which makes use of eye blink counts for detecting the drowsiness. Specifically, the proposed framework, continuously analyzes the eye movement of the driver and alerts the driver by activating the vibrator when he/she is drowsy. When the eyes are detected closed for too long time, a vibrator signal is generated to warn the driver. The experimental results of the proposed system, which is implemented on Open CV and Raspberry Pi environment with a single camera view, illustrate the good performance of the system in terms of accurate drowsiness detection results and thereby reduces the road accidents. We usually see poor fellows sitting on roads, railway stations and on many other places but we are helpless cause being an Indian and living in India is becoming difficult day by day because of lack of employment. Even if there are some employment sources then they demand for qualification. Hence, it becomes more strenuous for poor people to survive. So, we are here with an android application that will be providing an assistance to the poor people to get job. This application is not just a simple application that will give employment but there are many more modules in our project. First module is about employment to the poor/beggars, second module is placing homeless children into orphanages,third module is placing homeless aged people to old age homes, and fourth module is Donation to NGOs. In our application the functionalities will be different from other apps. We are making use of data scrapping to get jobs from other websites too. Our system is qualification independent that means it will provide employment according to the abilities of the person and what kind of skills he/she possess. If the person is disabled then he/she will get a job according to his/her ability. Notifications about government programs will also be given to the poor people if they don’t have any skills and want to learn some. Educators know that learning deepens, not just through reading and listening, but also through creating and interacting. This proposed project of ours aims to enhance current educational system using Augmented Reality. We are developing an application which will show animations, videos and 3D models of educational material. This project can enhance learning, creativity and retention among students. Our application will also foster intellectual curiosity among students making them smarter. Our aim is to provide a digital marksheet which can’t be modified from third party and also user can access their marksheet in any smart device. Digital marksheet is generated through the QR code and in that modification is not possible. And also if someone wants to verify whether the marksheet is genuine or fake then instead of writing applications to Universities and Institutes they just have to scan the QR code.Item Auto generaion of 3D model using multiple 3D graphics and manifest through augmented reality(AIKTC, 2018-05) Panwala, Sameer; Khedwala, Maria [14CO03]; Momin, Mohd Furkan [15DCO55]; Pachhapure, Uzair R [15DCO59]; Shaikh, Sameer [15DCO73]Images are more ambient than words similarly the 3D models are more descriptive than 2D pictures. 3D model of any product will give the enhanced information about it. The main objective of generating the 3D model is to reduce the amount of time by automating the process of generating the 3D model. Augmented Reality (AR) technologies have been recognized as offering great benefit to almost every field and organizations, although they are not easy to implement. AR provides enhanced information of the product by overlaying the 3D model into the real world. 3D models can express the shape and dimensions of the products with greater precision and they are being extensively used these days. In this project, we have implemented a 3D Modeling application which will take only a few 2D images as input from any image capturing device taken from different angles and it will automatically convert it into a 3D model. The first step towards generating the 3D model from the images is to establish point correspondence which includes feature extraction and feature matching. Then refining correspondence is done followed by de-calibration of 3D structure and camera pose. The final step is texture mapping and rendering. We are using an e-commerce portal as an example to display the 3D models generated by our 3D Modeling application. Most often customers shopping on e-commerce websites do not get complete information about the product by only viewing the 2D images. They can get a better understanding of the product by using AR View. The system will mark and record the attendance in any environment. This is an android application which can be used to track down the nearby mechanic shops (automobile service centers) in case vehicle breaks down or doorstep services are needed. Near to the registered service shops, notifications will be given when the customer comes into some area, if someone from that area is added their shop details to the database then the user will notify those shops. The location of the device is continuously transmitted to the server using GPS. Admin Panel offers the admin login to add shops and uninstall shops and use shop logins. After user registering to this application user can find several shop details which are associated with this application owner. The electronic voting system tends to maximize user participation, by allowing them to vote from anywhere and from any device that has an internet connection. The blockchain is an emerging, decentralized, and distributed technology with strong cryptographic foundations that promises to improve different aspects of many industries. Expanding e-voting into blockchain technology could be the solution to alleviate the present concerns in e-voting. The prime users of this application would be students. The motive of this application is to ease out the burden of students to look for second hand books in different stores and to give one stop solution to this problem. Here, student can act as buyer as well as seller they after performing their respective task i.e. searching or uploading the genuine price of book is scraped from different e commerce sites and provided to user. The user can select each other based on location. Only after selecting particular buyer and seller the contact information of each is disclosed to each other through contact retrieval. Consequently, this application can be accessed from all the internet enabled devices. In response to this growing problem, the DementiaCare application has been developed to help patients and caregivers manage the disease more effectively. The app includes features such as a personal diary, contact lists, reminders for medications and daily activities, and games to improve productivity. One of the key features of the app is the ability to track the live location of patients and provide emergency contact information for their family members. Early detection of dementia is also critical, and the app includes a system for detecting dementia at an early stage. Engaging in meaningful activities is an effective way to improve the quality of life for dementia patients, and the DementiaCare app is designed to identify and customize these activities for each individual patient.
