Such is also the same for the FDM Method on which most 3D Printers work. This project focuses on these enhancements in the traditionally available FDM based 3D Printer and its integration with Augmented Reality (AR) technology. The primary goal is to reduce the time taken to print an object, use of different material, and colors. Also the traditional 3D Printer faces the difficulty of Bed-Leveling[1]. Most 3D Printers available do not provide ease of use, are somewhat costly, less mobile and more complex in construction. Thus, the design, development and making of such a 3D Printer which will remove such impairments and implement a method of ‗Dual-Extruder‘ and Auto-Bed Leveling based FDM 3D Printer is discussed. Addition of another extruder and a sensor which can automatically level the bed solves the aforementioned problems of the 3D Printer. To provide ease of understanding and working of a 3D Printer, implementation of Marker-based AR Technology to depict the 3D Printer is implemented which is in compliance with Industry 4.0.[2] Additionally, emerging technologies such as ChatBot AI, Wireless Printing, Touch-based interaction system to make things easier for the user to understand and work out with the 3D Printer can also implemented. The following report contains a detailed explanation of the work done. The initial chapters discuss the need of this project, its history, available literature surveys carried out, available design and methods of 3D Printing. Next chapters deals with the depiction and explanation of a FDM based 3D Printer, its methodology, uses and its merits over other available methods. Further chapters deal with the components used, their specifications, designing procedure and fabrication. Finally the cost report, results and conclusion is stated in the remaining chapters.Item ABC analysis in corropack industries(AIKTC, 2020-05) Gandhi, Asif; Sahil, Shaikh (16ME83); Yadav, Nilesh (16ME94); Zardi, Mazharuddin (16ME95); Taragi, Mayur (16ME89)Established in the year 1983, 'Corropack Industries', are instrumental in manufacturing and supplying a wide range of quality corrugated rolls, corrugated boxes and corrugated packaging sheets in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. Therefore, in order to create a perfect inventory control system, various inventory items should be classified into the significant categories based on appropriate criteria and standards. Various models and methods have been so far presented to classify inventory among which, ABC analysis approach is one of the most common methods which is widely used for planning andt5 inventory control. Inventory classification based on ABC analysis allows the organization to classify its inventory into the significant categories. Generally, the above approach has been formed based on the Pareto Principle which is also known as “20-80” law. Regarding the organizations’ inventory, this principle will be expressed as follows: In the manufacturing organizations, there are only a few inventories which mostly contribute to the cost of the annual consumption of the organization’s inventory system and there are only anew inventories which a little contribute to the dollar value of the annual consumption of the inventory system. Given that the primary purpose of the inventory classification based on this approach is to create appropriate control levels for each inventory category, this question will be raised that whether the inventory classification based on single criterion ABC analysis will be able to meet all the needs of the organization’s inventory control system. As a result, the organizations can apply proper control policies by identifying the most effective criteria in their inventory classification. This study has also tried to present proposed ABC model for the hostel mess stores, in order to evaluate the inventory control system of the studied in that. For this purpose, first, the criteria affecting the evaluation of the inventory control system, classification of inventory and the priority of each One of the criteria in the studied mess stores and the priority of each one of the criteria in each inventory category (A, B, C) have been identified and model will be proposedItem Active vibration control of cantilever beam(AIKTC, 2020-05) Meshram, Atul; Khan, Md Saqulain; Mansoori, Himayatullah (16ME42); Khan, Mohd Zeeshan Abdul Rehman; Siddique, Aamir SohailActive vibration control is defined as a technique in which the vibration of a structure is reduced or controlled by applying counter force to the structure that is appropriately out of phase but equal in amplitude to the original vibration. As a result two opposite force cancel each other and structure stops vibrating. Active vibration control makes use of smart structure and smart material. Smart materials and structures refers to structures that can assess their own health, perform self-repair or can make critical adjustments in their behavior as conditions change. The system mainly requires actuators, sensors, source of power and a compensator that performs well when vibration occurs.Item Actual indicator diagram mechanism(AIKTC, 2019-05) Shah, UbaidThe main aim of this project is to understand the mechanism of actual indicator diagram and its working principle. Furthermore to design and fabricate a low cost mechanical indicator prototype with the help of available non-expensive materials using comprehended studies done previously. Such type of indicators is mainly found to be used by steam and diesel engine manufacturers to enable them to work out horsepower ratings for the products. They are also a useful diagnostic tool to show problems with injection, valves, leaking piston rings etc. The engine indicator work on the principle of showing cylinder pressure plotted against piston movement (indicator diagram), and the resulting trace is marked onto a piece of treated paper to give a permanent record. The pressure is taken from the cylinder on test into the indicator. The indicator has a small cylinder with a piston which operates against a spring which sets the operating range. The indicator diagram is very important to know the combustion in the cylinder and also to adjust the engine. The diagram is taken periodically from the indicator valve equipped on the cylinder head and combustion condition is to be confirmed. The compression pressure and maximum pressure in the cylinder can be presumed from the indicator diagram. Engine indicator is the device used to take the indicator diagram, which can be considered as a ‘stethoscope’ for diesel engines. This diagram give efficiency of combustion in the cylinder, condition of the running gear, irregularities in fuel pumping and injection and a lot of things. The present work is aimed at learning the principle working of an actual indicator diagram and thereby designing and fabricating a low cost prototype engine indicator.Item Aerodynamic design, analysis and testing od medical transpor UAV(AIKTC, 2021-05) Motiwala, Nawaz; Chougle, Muneeb Mohammed Arshad (17ME14); Khan, Mohd Umar Raees Ahmed (18DME19); Mulla, Mohamed Afaque Anis (18DME27); Mohamed, Afaque Anis (18DME27)In order to minimize human contact, less work to be needed; energy saving and rapid delivery; air transport will address most, if not all, of the barriers faced by working with conventional methods of transporting organs and other key products. This project aims to build a delivery drone for a greater cause with the concept of UAV and studies carried out on the construction of a VTOL-based drone in the opinions and statistical research carried out on the transport and handling of sensitive organs, blood for transfusion and other crucial medical equipment. Technological progress in aspects of UAV has led to different opening up to concepts that could change the way traditional travel, art and distribution methods are used; etc. The delicacy and demand for Cadaver Organs is huge, which has led to the high amount of investment of money and labour; let alone for the transportation. However, this project aims to cut down on such investment by the development of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. Which would not only help to cut down the cost of transportation but also delivering the supply in time of great urgency. Given the current state of the world, it is critical to encourage activities that include less human interaction, and drones play a critical role in achieving this goal; to minimise human contact when delivering.Item Algae to biofuel(AIKTC, 2018-05) Tadavi, Shakil; Chougule, Huzaifa(15DME144); Hodekar, Afif(15DME146); Khan, Shoeb(15DME148); Shaikh, Abdul Mueed(15DME154)Biodiesel is biodegradable, less NOx CO and C02 emissions. Continued use of petroleum sourced fuels is now widely recognized as unsustainable because of depleting supplies and the contribution of these fuels to the accumulation of carbon dioxide in the environment. Renewable, carbon neutral, transport fuels are necessary for environmental and economic sustainability. Sustainable production of renewable energy is being hotly debated globally since it is increasingly understood that first generation biofuels, primarily produced from food crops and mostly oil seeds are limited in their ability to achieve targets for biofuel production, climate change mitigation and economic growth. These concerns have increased the interest in developing second generation biofuels produced from nonfood feed stocks such as microalgae, which potentially offer greatest opportunities in the longer term. Microalgae have emerged as one of the most promising sources for biodiesel production. It can be inferred that microalgae grown in C02-enriched air can be converted to oily substances. Such an approach can contribute to solve major problems of air pollution resulting from C02 evolution and future crisis due to a shortage of energy sources. Thinking about these elements, exhibit work focused on generation of Biodiesel from the Microalgae by Expeller Method. This project is concerned with the analysis and development of a algae oil extracting machine Further the aim of the project is to increase the understanding of the operation of the machine, and identify and implement methods of improving the performance.Item Analysis of heat exchanger performance using wind tunnel test rig facility(AIKTC, 2020-05) Shaikh, Rizwan; Albuquerque, Farhan (16ME05); Ansari, Rehan (16ME12); Chaurasiya, Sunny (16ME15); Nadar, Venkatesh (16ME50)In this study performance evaluation and testing of the heat exchanger (radiator) are done using wind tunnel test rig facility because all internal combustion engines produce heat as a byproduct of combustion of fuel and friction of moving parts. This heat can reach temperatures up to 1925°C (3500°F) and can cause catastrophic damage to the engine components. Furthermore, it can have negative effects on the engine such as reduction in engine performance and shortening of engine’s service life, therefore cooling systems must be accurately designed, tested, operated and maintained for optimum engine life and smooth operation.Item 'ANSYS' analysis of pressure vessel(AIKTC, 2018-05) Shaikh, Rizwan; Ansari, Nabil Ahmed T.(14ME03); Azharuddin, Hamiduddin(14ME07); Khan, Mohd. Hatim(14ME22); Upadhe, Salman R.(14ME59)Saddles are used to support the horizontal pressure vessels such as boiler drums or tanks. Since saddle is an integral part of the vessel, it should be designed in such a way that it can withstand the pressure vessel load along with the operating weight. High pressure is developed in pressure vessel so pressure vessel has to withstand several forces developed due to internal pressure and external forces such as wind. Horizontal pressure vessel with saddle support is designed to store H2 operating at a pressure of 4.4MPa and analyzed by using FEA software ANSYS. Saddle has to carry stress pressure inside the vessel. Apart from that stresses due to self-weight and other atmospheric condition. Considering this theory, the focus is on a structural analysis and optimization of weight and improvement in stresses of saddle support which in turn result in reduction in cost. The results obtained shows that the saddle support design is safe for the given loading conditions and provides the theoretical basis for further optimization.Item Anti-drag system(AIKTC, 2015-05) Patwegar, Imamdin; Pawaskar, Azharuddin (12ME66); Bade, Usama (12ME77); Sirkhot, Waris (12ME68); Dilwarkhan, Sufiyan (12ME71); Ansari, Sadique (12ME72)Important features Two were used in conjunction with two hubs. The visible part of the fire is called flame. Fire occurs when flammable and/or combustible material, combined with an appropriate amount of oxidizing agent, for example, gaseous oxygen is exposed to a heat source or an ambient temperature above the flash stage. Combustible to the fuel/oxidizer mixture and can withstand the rapid oxidation that creates a chain reaction. Fire is made up of four components: fuel, oxygen, heat, and a chain of chemical reactions. This is often called the fire tetrahedron (Figure 1.1). Fire cannot exist without all of these elements in the right place and the right proportions.Item Aprangements of centrifugal pumps in series and parellel(AIKTC, 2017-05) Hirani, Aslam; Yadav, Deepak [13ME124]; Yadav, Rahul [13ME125]; Shaikh, Moosin [13ME117]; Shaikh, Said [13ME1190]Wetakeanopportunitytopresentthisprojectreporton “ARRANGEMENTSOFCENTRIFUGALPUMPSINSERIESANDPARELLEL”andput beforereaderssomeusefulinformation regardingourproject. To reduce its cost we have designed the low cost hydraulic cutting machine by sacrificing the thickness of sheet metal cut. We also have reduce the effort of one skilled worker which is required for pulling the cutter handle to cut sheet metal and safety of operator is also considered in design by adding the sensor which detects hand if comes in the cutter then operation gets terminated.Item Automated lubrication system(AIKTC, 2018-05) Tadavi, Shakil; Khan, Ishaque(15DME129); Shaikh, Ajaz A.(15DME138); Cheulkar, Shairoz(15DME143); Sawant, Furqan(13ME40)Item Automatic floor cleaner(AIKTC, 2021-05) Ansari, Zakir; Shaikh, Aaqib Javed (18DME39); Abdul Aziz, Zakir Husain (18DME01); Mansuri, Mohd Khalid Ajaj Ahmed (17ME52); Qazi, Khalid Parvez (18DME33)Automatic floor cleaner is a system that enables cleaning of the floor by the help of highly stabilized and rapidly functionalized electronic and mechanical control system. Current project work targets to use automatic floor cleaner for large floor in house-hold purposes and office floors. The cleaning purpose is specifically carried out by continuous relative motion between a scrubber and the floor surface. During the cleaning and moving operation of vehicle a propulsion mechanism such as driven wheels and guide wheels for the dry tracking on the floor surface to be cleaned, suction of water is carried out by vacuum pump, scrubbing action is done by the scrubber directing water towards rear end. Preferably, a sweeper mechanism is mounted on the body forwarded by propulsion mechanism and operated with such control system for advance sweeping of a debris-laden floor surface. A PID controller is used to govern the motion of system which takes the input from sensor circuit and feeds it back to microcontroller which gives rise to the simulation of wheel in a synchronized manner. The new automatic floor cleaner will save huge cost of labor in future. The basic advantage of this product is that it will be cost effective and no human control is needed. Once put in on mode it will clean the whole room without any omission of surface.Item Automatic hand sanitizer dispenser(AIKTC, 2021-05) Khan, Jalal; Aafrith Ali, Noor Mohd (17ME02); Babar, Mrunesh (17ME08); Bankotkar, Sajid (17ME10); Shaikh, Juneid (17ME20)Demand for hand sanitizers has surged since the coronavirus broke out and spread around the world. Hand sanitizers are usually applied by squirting the sanitizer liquid when one presses a pump with one’s hand. This causes many people to come into contact with the pump handle, which increases the risk of viral transmission. Some hand sanitizers on the market are automatically pumped. However, because sanitizer containers and pump devices are designed to be compatible only between products produced by the same manufacturer, consumers must also repurchase the container for the liquid if they replace the hand sanitizer. Therefore, this paper suggests the design of an automatic hand sanitizer system compatible with various sanitizer containers.Item Automatic job sorting machine(AIKTC, 2021-05) Shaikh, Rizwan; Thonge, Zaid Azim (18DME55); Kazi, Salman Siraj (18DME34); Petkar, Muzammil Ashraf (18DME31); Tulve, Mustafa M. Hanif (16ME91)Sorting is very important in any type of industry such as manufacturing industry to improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes . Generally the manufacturing industries keep on manufacturing similar models of products with little variation in their height, color, weight and shape. Hence, sorting plays an important role there. In older days, it was possible to utilize manual labour for sorting the objects. But in the world of technology today where there are speed running industries, the production rate has increased tremendously. In such cases industries can’t bear human errors for sorting these products that too associated with high labour costs and time taking procedures. This gives rise to the necessity to reduce manual effort and also human error by replacing the conventional methods of sorting in areas involving hectic sorting with cut-cost user friendly automated systems. The goal with “Automatic Job Sorting Machine ” is to create a smart prototype model in which instead of using manual inspection and sorting here we are introducing an automatic system . In this type of conveyor system , sensors (i.e Ultrasonic and Ir) are used to measure the dimensions of parts placed over it and a linear solenoid is placed next to the sensor which will separate the component based on its dimensions. By using this system, we completely eliminate manual work and reduce inspection time , effort in material handling and also increase production rate.Item Automatic scrap removing(AIKTC, 2017-05) Kazi, Javed; Shaikh, Abid; Shaikh, Javedhassan; Shaikh, JunaidThe world is looking for an automation in almost every field to cope up with the ever Increasing demand of automation andthe government and companies are spending huge money for the development in all over the world.
